Job Summary
As a Commercial IT Support & POS Systems Specialist, you will play a vital role in the administrative backbone of a successful large-scale catering company. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing technical support to various locations, focusing specifically on Point of Sale (POS) systems and general IT applications. You will be responsible for quality assurance by ensuring correct accounting and tax data (such as VAT rates) are maintained within the systems. Additionally, you will handle the physical setup and commissioning of IT hardware, including PCs, monitors, and peripheral devices. This role is ideal for a technically-minded professional who enjoys problem-solving and collaborating with diverse teams. You will act as the primary point of contact for employees facing hardware or software issues, while also assisting in the rollout of new system updates and maintaining technical documentation. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in a commercial field (e.g., Office Management Assistant, Industrial Clerk) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in commercial administration or a related business field
- Practical experience with IT support and hardware troubleshooting
- Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and their technical maintenance is highly preferred
- Proven track record in structured, solution-oriented working environments
