Job Summary

As a Service Desk and IT Support Specialist for the Alliance 90/The Greens parliamentary group in the German Bundestag, you will serve as the primary point of contact for approximately 200 employees regarding all IT-related inquiries. Your daily responsibilities include providing 1st and 2nd level support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and managing the rollout and installation of PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices. You will also collaborate on central IT system administration and various technical projects. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys direct user interaction and technical problem-solving. The position offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of German politics in Berlin within a motivated team. It is a full-time, fixed-term contract until April 30, 2027, offering 30 days of vacation and compensation based on the TVöD/Bund public service pay scale.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification in the IT field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in IT Support, Service Desk, or application support is preferred.
  • Experience in the installation, rollout, and commissioning of hardware and mobile devices.
  • Proven experience in troubleshooting and analyzing technical malfunctions in a professional environment.
  • Experience working with central IT systems and administrative tasks.
