As a Metrology Technician based in Herne, you will play a critical role in quality assurance for series production. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve evaluating 3D measurements, granting first-part approvals, and conducting First Article Inspections (FAI). You will operate high-precision equipment, specifically Zeiss 3D measuring machines, to measure wheelset components with micrometer-level accuracy. The role requires a blend of technical precision and administrative documentation using software like Calypso and SAP.
