Job Summary
This is a structured 12-month technical development program designed for aspiring engineers and technicians at Rhein-Sieg Netz GmbH. The role offers a comprehensive rotation through various technical departments including Planning, Network Operations, Regulatory Management, and Procurement during the first six months. This is followed by a six-month specialization phase in a chosen area such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or civil engineering. Participants will be actively involved in day-to-day operations, taking on responsibility early while being supported by a dedicated mentor. The program is uniquely designed to transition participants into permanent roles such as Civil Engineer or Operations Manager. It is an ideal opportunity for graduates or qualified technicians who want to explore different facets of energy distribution networks—including electricity, gas, water, and heat—while contributing to future-oriented projects like hydrogen and green gas infrastructure in the Rhein-Sieg region.
Required Skills
Education
Completed technical degree (University/FH) or comparable qualification such as Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician (Techniker), ideally specializing in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Supply Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience or initial practical experience in a technical environment (e.g., through internships, projects, or prior employment)
- Experience in independent and structured work methods
- Demonstrated interest in technical processes and their continuous development
- Background in managing technical tasks with a hands-on mentality
