Job Summary
As a Business Information Systems Specialist at the ITS Group, you will be the driving force behind digital transformation at the company's Dortmund headquarters. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing and optimizing business processes, then implementing automated solutions using tools like n8n, Power Automate, and custom scripts. You will act as a bridge between technical teams and the commercial department, translating business requirements into technical workflows. This role is highly technical, involving SQL database management, XML/JSON data handling, and script development in PowerShell. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Business Informatics (Wirtschaftsinformatik) or a related technical/commercial field.
Experience
- Professional experience in business process analysis and technical optimization
- Practical experience in automating administrative tasks using scripting languages
- Experience in managing IT service processes such as Incident and Change management
- Initial experience in object-oriented programming (e.g., C# or Java)
- Proven experience working with SQL databases and structured data formats like XML and JSON
