Job Summary

As a Technical Estimator and Proposal Engineer, you will play a central role in the pre-sales and planning phase of complex automation projects. Your daily responsibilities include the technical analysis of customer inquiries, tenders, and requirement specifications to design customized solutions in process and energy automation. You will be responsible for the end-to-end calculation of project costs—covering hardware, engineering, assembly, and commissioning—while coordinating with suppliers and internal departments like sales and project management. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy blending engineering expertise with commercial strategy, as you will also support contract negotiations and technical presentations. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Engineering or a qualification as a State-Certified Technician / Master Craftsman (Meister) in a relevant field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in automation technology, electrical engineering, energy technology, or mechatronics
  • Experience in calculation, project planning, or proposal preparation for automation systems is preferred
  • Proven knowledge in at least one area: PLC/SCADA, energy distribution, switchgear, or electrical installation
  • Experience in coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors for offer evaluation
