Job Summary
As the Head of Quality for Florapharm, a leading international tea manufacturer, you will take on a pivotal leadership role overseeing quality management, assurance, and control across three production sites in Germany. Your daily responsibilities include the strategic planning and operational steering of the quality department, ensuring all products meet the highest standards for the global tea trade. You will be responsible for expanding the existing audit systems, monitoring the regulatory landscape, and translating new requirements into actionable company measures. This role is ideal for a proactive leader who enjoys developing staff and maintaining relationships with industry stakeholders. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical or scientific university degree, ideally as a State-Certified Food Chemist (Staatlich geprüfte*r Lebensmittelchemiker*in).
Experience
- Relevant professional experience in quality within the food industry
- Proven leadership experience in managing teams and quality functions
- Extensive experience with regulatory requirements and their implementation
- Experience in managing and developing audit systems
- Experience working with SAP and standard office software

- Willingness to travel approximately 20% between company sites (Scheßlitz, Gera, and Zeil am Main). Full-time, permanent position based in Scheßlitz.
