As a Hardware Developer at Stadler, you will be responsible for the further development and optimization of inductive signal transmission products within the railway technology sector. Your day-to-day activities will involve designing hardware with a focus on analog technology, ensuring compliance with functional safety standards (EN 5012x), and performing obsolescence management for existing components. You will play a critical role in analyzing and resolving faults in existing assemblies while coordinating closely with production, testing, and validation teams. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, qualification as a certified Technician, or a comparable educational background.

Experience

  • Professional experience in hardware development with a focus on analog technology
  • Deep knowledge in the field of functional safety standards, specifically EN 5012x
  • Experience in product development and lifecycle management (obsolescence handling)
  • Experience with simulation tools for hardware design is desirable
  • Proven experience in technical documentation and cross-departmental coordination
