Job Summary
This role involves supporting the development of the newly founded Medical University Lausitz – Carl Thiem (MUL-CT) in Cottbus, Brandenburg's first state university medicine institution. Working within the Ministry of Science, Research, and Culture (MWFK), you will operate at the intersection of science and healthcare systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities include evaluating university clinic planning, participating in consultations with the Ministry of Health regarding medical service offerings, and monitoring the allocation and use of state subsidies. You will also play a key role in building the 'Health Region Lausitz' network. This position is particularly attractive for its unique involvement in a high-profile state project, offering a collaborative interdisciplinary environment, flexible working hours with up to 50% remote work, and a permanent contract within the German public service (TV-L E 12 / A 13).
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in Health Management, Public Health, Administration, Economics, Law, or qualification for the higher intermediate administrative service (gehobener allgemeiner Verwaltungsdienst).
Experience
- Professional experience related to the advertised activities, preferably in healthcare or public administration
- Experience in public budgeting, finance, or accounting, ideally within a university medicine context
- Experience in analyzing complex issues and preparing professional reports or documentation
- Experience in interdisciplinary collaboration and committee support
