Job Summary
Join the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart as a Building Services Technician, playing a crucial role in maintaining the operational backbone of a leading arts university. In this position, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and plumbing (HLS) systems, as well as managing building control technology. You will work collaboratively with other teams to ensure the smooth running of the university's facilities and events. Required Skills
Education
Minimum 3-year vocational training completion in Electrical, Ventilation, Plumbing, or Building Services. Hygiene training according to VDI 6022 B (Expert for Room Air Technology) or willingness to obtain; Certified Hygiene Specialist according to VDI-MT 2047 for evaporative cooling systems or willingness to obtain.
Experience
- Professional experience in operating and maintaining building services, specifically HLS systems and building control technology
- Experience working independently and proactively
- Experience working at heights (e.g., on ladders) and transporting loads
Languages
Additional
- Driver's license for motor vehicles is advantageous. Willingness to undergo required hygiene and cooling system training. Ability to work on ladders and transport loads according to Leitmerkmalmethoden (LMM).
