Job Summary

In this pivotal role, you will serve as a key architect for the process data network—the 'nervous system' of a major regional energy provider. Your daily responsibilities involve defining technical requirements for connecting decentralized energy plants, coordinating the strategic use of the 450 MHz mobile network, and steering the expansion of fiber optic infrastructure. You will act as a strategic consultant for internal departments, evaluating new technologies and developing transmission strategies that bridge cable and wireless solutions. This position is uniquely attractive as it places you at the heart of the energy transition, working with critical infrastructure reserved specifically for utility security. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the planning and operation of networks, specifically mobile and Wide Area Networks (WAN)
  • Practical experience in project management and steering complex multi-party projects
  • Professional experience in the energy industry or critical infrastructure environments is preferred
