Job Summary
As an IT Production Technician at WEROCK Technologies in Karlsruhe, you will play a vital role in the lifecycle of rugged computing solutions for industrial and emergency services. Your daily responsibilities include the final configuration, repair, and maintenance of specialized hardware such as notebooks, tablets, and barcode scanners. You will be responsible for installing operating systems, performing quality control on incoming goods, and providing technical support to existing customers. Beyond routine maintenance, you will support the Research & Development department through rigorous product testing and technical documentation. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on hardware work and wants to contribute to a growing company with flat hierarchies and a strong commitment to sustainability. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, System Electronics Technician, Information Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the configuration and repair of IT hardware and electronic devices
- Practical experience with modern soldering techniques on multilayer assemblies
- Experience in hardware debugging and troubleshooting
- Experience in technical documentation and product testing is preferred
- Previous experience in customer-facing roles or technical support is an advantage
