As a Cost Estimator for Security Systems, you will be responsible for the precise calculation and preparation of quotes for complex projects involving fire alarms, intrusion detection, and video surveillance systems. Your daily activities include analyzing detailed technical drawings, performance descriptions, and project documentation to determine material, labor, and machinery costs. You will evaluate subcontractor bids and supplier conditions to optimize cost structures and develop economically viable solutions.
