Job Summary

As an Installation Planning Engineer for rail vehicles, you will serve as a critical technical bridge between engineering and production. Your daily responsibilities include supporting production, testing, and commissioning activities while acting as the primary point of contact for the engineering team in Valenciennes. You will be responsible for meticulously reviewing technical drawings, bills of materials, and electrical documentation to ensure feasibility in a production environment. A key part of the role involves coordinating change requests based on electrical documents and participating in daily on-site electrical reviews. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering or vocational training as an Electronics Technician, ideally supplemented by further training as a Master Electrician (Elektromeister).

Experience

  • Professional experience in reviewing and evaluating technical documents, circuit plans, and electrical assemblies.
  • Experience in coordinating change requests based on electrical documentation within a production or quality context.
  • Proven background in supporting production, testing, and commissioning phases of engineering projects.
  • Experience in cross-functional communication and acting as a technical liaison between engineering and manufacturing teams.
