As an IT System Administrator Logistics, you will be responsible for the technical heartbeat of a modern, highly automated distribution center in Homberg. Your primary mission is to ensure the seamless operation of logistics-specific IT hardware and infrastructure, including scanners, printers, terminals, and CCTV systems. On a day-to-day basis, you will install and configure hardware, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot technical issues to maintain high operational efficiency. You will also manage IT inventory and collaborate closely with internal teams and external service providers. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional with a strong technical background who enjoys working in a dynamic, international environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT (e.g., IT Specialist) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in handling IT hardware and infrastructure
- Experience in the analysis and rectification of hardware and software malfunctions
- Experience in a logistics or distribution center environment is implied
- Experience in coordinating with internal IT teams and external service providers
