Job Summary

As a GIS Specialist within the River Basin Management department in Essen, you will play a vital role in securing the water supply for 4.6 million people. Your daily responsibilities include configuring specialized applications to support water management tasks, performing database migrations, and managing complex spatial data. You will provide technical administration for Geographic Information Systems (GIS), troubleshoot system issues, and support end-users while collaborating on IT-focused project groups.
