Job Summary
As a Field Calibration Technician for GMC-I Service GmbH, you will be responsible for the precise calibration, testing, and documentation of high-quality electrical measurement and testing equipment. Working both at the Nuremberg laboratory and directly at customer sites, you will ensure all devices comply with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards. Your day-to-day tasks involve performing adjustments, functional tests, identifying deviations, and conducting minor repairs. You will also serve as a technical advisor to clients regarding equipment maintenance and testing cycles. This role is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys a mix of technical precision and customer interaction. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training in a relevant field such as Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Mechanics, or Measurement Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in calibration and electronic measurement technology is preferred
- Experience in mechanics, electronics, or temperature/pressure measurement technology is desirable
- Proven experience in the safe handling of measuring instruments and calibration standards
- Experience in a customer-facing service role with a professional demeanor
