Job Summary
As a PMO Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and advancing PMO structures within Germany, working in close coordination with international counterparts in Poland. Your daily responsibilities involve monitoring investment projects, collaborating with financial controlling to report on costs and revenues, and implementing tools to track project progress and risks. You will act as a bridge between project managers and senior leadership, ensuring transparent reporting and adherence to budgets and timelines. Beyond monitoring, you will standardize project management processes, develop internal guidelines, and conduct training sessions for project teams. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys building structures from the ground up within the renewable energy infrastructure sector. The position offers a high degree of autonomy, flexible working conditions, and the chance to contribute to the energy transition in a dynamic, international environment.
Required Skills
Education
University degree, preferably in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or Project Management.
Experience
- Professional experience in a similar PMO or project management position
- Specific experience within the electrical power industry or energy sector preferred
- Leadership experience required with a track record of managing a team
- Experience in monitoring investment projects and conducting plan/actual comparisons
- Proven experience in implementing project management tools and methodologies
