As a Software Engineer at SMIGHT, you will play a pivotal role in driving the German energy transition by scaling one of the country's largest low-voltage measurement databases. You will be responsible for evolving systems that currently handle 30 million data points daily to a capacity of 1 billion daily points. Operating under a 'you build it, you run it' DevOps philosophy, you will design and develop services ranging from streaming applications to REST APIs, ensuring high availability and performance. This role is highly collaborative and leadership-oriented; you will lead technical projects from hardware to web-frontends, define architectural patterns, and mentor junior developers.
