Job Summary
As an Energy Consultant for the Schwabach municipal utilities (Stadtwerke Schwabach GmbH), you will play a pivotal role in advising approximately 40,000 residents on energy efficiency and sustainable practices. Your daily responsibilities include providing comprehensive energy consultations, creating renovation roadmaps, and performing hydraulic balancing for heating systems. You will develop strategic concepts to optimize energy consumption and reduce environmental impact, while also identifying and analyzing financial subsidies for end customers. Furthermore, you will be responsible for the planning and project management of electric mobility and photovoltaic (PV) solutions. Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman (Handwerksmeister) or Industrial Master (Industriemeister) with additional qualification as an Energy Consultant (or willingness to obtain it).
Experience
- Professional experience as a Master Craftsman or Industrial Master
- Experience in energy consulting or willingness to obtain the Energy Consultant qualification
- Experience in planning and project management within E-mobility and Photovoltaics
- Experience with energy calculation software (Envisys preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in customer-facing advisory roles

- Eligibility for entry in the Energy Efficiency Expert List (Energieeffizienz-Expertenliste) is required or highly desirable. Position involves mobile work options and adherence to the utility industry collective agreement (TV-V).
