Job Summary

As the Head of Operations Technology and Maintenance at KARL SCHNELL, you will take full responsibility for the technical infrastructure at the Creglingen plant, with a specific focus on electrical engineering. Your daily activities will involve ensuring the continuous availability and maintenance of all plant systems, acting as the Responsible Electrical Specialist (VEFK). You will be tasked with planning, controlling, and monitoring maintenance measures while coordinating and supervising external service providers. Beyond routine operations, you will play a key role in infrastructure investment and modernization projects. This position is particularly attractive due to its leadership scope within a globally recognized premium brand in the food industry machinery sector. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in electrical engineering with further qualification as a Technician, Master Craftsman (Meister), or a University Degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma Engineer). Alternatively, a recognized skilled worker qualification with significant relevant experience.

Experience

  • Multiple years of professional experience in electrical maintenance or operations technology
  • Leadership experience in a technical or maintenance environment is preferred
  • Proven experience in coordinating and managing external specialized companies
  • Professional background in infrastructure planning and maintenance monitoring
  • Experience in executing deficiencies lists from audits and inspections
