Job Summary
As a Coatings Engineer at Teknos, you will join a global Finnish family-owned company dedicated to sustainable and technically advanced coating solutions. Based in Alzenau, your day-to-day responsibilities involve the end-to-end development of innovative wood, water-based, and UV coatings, from initial conceptualization to final product implementation and test batching. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training, further education, or a degree as a Paint Laboratory Technician, Coatings Developer, Coatings Engineer, or a comparable qualification in chemistry.
Experience
- Professional experience in coatings chemistry, specifically with wood, water-based, or UV coatings
- Experience in conducting laboratory analysis and testing for product quality
- Practical experience in developing formulations from concept to final product
- Initial experience in project management is preferred
- Experience collaborating with sales teams and participating in customer trials
