Job Summary
This role involves working within the Lithium Organics Laboratory at Albemarle's Langelsheim site, focusing on the quality control and analysis of organic compounds and raw materials. As a Chemical Laboratory Technician, you will perform a variety of chemical and physical measurement procedures, including spectroscopic methods, gravimetric analysis, and particle size analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting Karl Fischer water determination, potentiometric titrations, and both ion and gas chromatography. You will be responsible for the precise documentation of all analytical results. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or in a comparable role
- Practical experience in quality control and laboratory analysis methods
- Experience in the documentation of analytical measurement procedures
- Several years of professional experience in quality control is preferred
