Job Summary
As an EDI Specialist, you will be responsible for the seamless electronic exchange of data between the company and its business partners. Operating at the intersection of IT, logistics, purchasing, and sales, you will ensure that data flows accurately, efficiently, and automatically. Your daily tasks include monitoring incoming and outgoing EDI messages such as ORDERS, DESADV, and INVOIC, as well as analyzing and resolving errors within the 'Lobster Data' software environment. You will be tasked with creating, maintaining, and optimizing mappings for formats like UN EDIFACT, SAP IDoc, and XML. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to act as a communication bridge between internal departments and external stakeholders to implement new interfaces for ERP, CRM, and AS2 systems. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy technical problem-solving and process optimization within a stable, permanent full-time framework.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or a degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Logistics, or a comparable background.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of EDI or system integration
- Demonstrated understanding of B2B business processes
- Experience in monitoring and troubleshooting electronic message flows
- Experience in creating and optimizing data mappings
- Experience working as a communication interface between IT and business departments
