Job Summary
This role involves specifying, developing, and maintaining electrical tooling and test equipment, including automated test stands and fixtures, using various software development and CAD tools. The engineer will be responsible for creating technical specifications, drawings, and test procedures, as well as training technicians and providing essential engineering support for calibration, maintenance, and production issues related to test equipment, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems. A key aspect of the role is coordinating internal and external resources for project completion and documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and/or computer engineering, with experience in aviation MRO and a solid understanding of aviation law.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor’s degree in electrical and/or computer engineering or equivalent (required), Master’s degree (desirable)
Experience
- 2-5 years of engineering experience
- At least 2 years in aviation MRO engineering (desirable)
- Experience in designing Tooling and Test Equipment to meet CMM requirements
- Experience navigating repair documentation
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
