Job Summary
The Municipality of Simmerath is seeking a state-certified Civil Engineering Technician to join Department VI (Construction). In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for the technical management of road cleaning, winter services, and the maintenance of public green spaces, sports facilities, and playgrounds. Your daily tasks involve handling tenders, procurement, and fee calculations, alongside overseeing the maintenance of the municipal road network, cemeteries, and water bodies. You will also manage street lighting, utility coordination, and technical implementation related to wastewater self-monitoring regulations. Required Skills
Education
State-certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfte/r Techniker/in) in Civil Engineering or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in civil engineering or municipal technical services is preferred
- Experience in technical processing of tenders and procurement processes
- Professional experience in maintenance management for public infrastructure
- Experience in wastewater technical implementation and monitoring
