Job Summary

As an IT Specialist within the Dr. Güldener network team, you will be responsible for the high-availability operation of a nationwide network infrastructure across Germany, covering LAN, WAN, and data center connectivity. Your daily responsibilities include administering and optimizing Cisco Nexus and Catalyst environments, managing Cisco-based Network Access Control (NAC) solutions, and performing performance analyses to ensure secure and reliable operations. You will actively shape the company's future by introducing modern technologies, maintaining technical documentation, and ensuring compliance requirements are met. This role is highly collaborative, requiring close interaction with adjacent IT teams on both operational tasks and strategic projects. Required Skills

Education

Completed IT-oriented or comparable technical vocational training/degree.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in LAN, WAN, WLAN, and the provision of complex network services
  • Multiple years of practical experience in the administration of Cisco Enterprise networks
  • Proven experience with Cisco NXOS, IOS, and Cisco ISE
  • Experience in network log file and trace analysis
  • Initial experience in the automation of network infrastructures
  • Experience working in a regulated environment is preferred
