Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in Germany's energy transition by designing electrical systems for biogas plants and battery storage projects. Your daily responsibilities include creating detailed plans for control cabinet construction, plant modifications, and large-scale energy systems. You will be responsible for dimensioning electrical components such as cables, fuses, contactors, and frequency converters, while also developing automation and control concepts. This role is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy both theoretical planning and seeing their designs implemented in practical applications. The position offers a highly collaborative and flexible working environment within a modern office setting, providing a long-term career path in the sustainable energy sector. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in the electrotechnical field with further qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister), State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical planning and design
- Practical experience in the implementation of electrotechnical projects
- Proficient in using electrotechnical application software and planning tools
- Experience in dimensioning electrical components and protective concepts
