Job Summary

As an Energy Consultant for Zukunft Altbau, a competence center of KEA-BW, you will play a vital role in increasing building efficiency across Baden-Württemberg. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing independent technical advice to citizens, tradespeople, and other energy consultants regarding energy-efficient renovations. You will act as a technical expert for public relations, helping create content and graphics while analyzing public opinion on renovation topics to ensure neutral, manufacturer-independent assessments. Additionally, you will support events, select speakers, and represent the organization at trade fairs. This 50% part-time position is ideal for professionals passionate about climate protection who enjoy a mix of technical analysis and communication. Required Skills

Education

University degree (at least Bachelor's or from a University of Applied Sciences) in Civil Engineering or a related field; qualified Energy Consultant certification preferred.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a qualified energy consultant including verification and funding processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge in construction and plant technology, building envelopes, and building physics
  • Experience in providing technical advice and training to diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in content development and public relations support from a technical perspective
  • Proven track record in climate protection and sustainable development initiatives
