Job Summary

In this role at the Wilhelmshaven Naval Arsenal, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of sophisticated radar systems on German Navy ships, boats, and land-based facilities. Your daily work involves performing repairs, commissioning, and final inspections of radar equipment, often working in confined spaces or at heights. A unique aspect of this position is the requirement to participate in sea voyages and travel both domestically and internationally for service assignments and multi-week training sessions. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, Information and Telecommunications Electronics Technician, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the repair of technical systems and equipment
  • Experience in the maintenance of complex systems, specifically multi-function radar systems like MWCS, Smart-S, or TRS-3D is preferred
  • Experience working in maritime environments or on naval vessels is highly desirable
  • Professional experience in electronics for devices, systems, or telecommunications
