Job Summary

As a Data Scientist/Analyst at InGef, you will play a pivotal role in healthcare research projects by analyzing statutory health insurance (SHI) routine data. Your daily responsibilities include planning projects in health economics and pharmacoepidemiology, performing statistical programming in R, and extracting study populations from large datasets. You will be responsible for preparing study results for external partners, contributing to scientific publications, and presenting findings. A key part of the role involves developing methodological standards and automating analysis processes. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Statistics, Biometry, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in a similar data science or analytical role
  • Professional experience in analyzing, modeling, and explaining large datasets
  • Experience with German statutory health insurance (GKV) billing data or German healthcare system data is highly preferred
  • Experience in creating scientific publications and technical presentations
  • Proven experience in applying statistical tools and methods
