Job Summary
This is an 18-month rotational graduate program designed to develop the next generation of Electrical Engineers for a leading energy provider. Day-to-day, you will be involved in the planning and execution of electrical maintenance for high-impact assets, including 415V switchgear, motors, and actuators. You will ensure compliance with safety standards, support technical maintenance teams, and contribute to the electrical aspects of new construction projects. The role also involves budget control and contract management. What makes this position unique is its international scope; you will rotate through various national and international locations, gaining a broad perspective on power generation and grid stability. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be prepared to transition into a permanent Electrical Engineer role at one of the company's sites or the Essen headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive graduate to gain hands-on experience in a future-oriented industry focused on decarbonization and hydrogen technology.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field of study, ideally at a Master's level.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering (Graduate level)
- Previous experience through relevant internships or initial professional roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Experience in a multicultural or international environment is beneficial due to rotational nature

- High willingness to travel and relocate both during and after the program is required. Must be available for the Assessment Center in Essen on June 2nd and 3rd, 2026. This is a fixed-term contract for 18 months.
