Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing and planning control cabinets and control systems for innovative industrial plants and drive systems. Your daily responsibilities include creating detailed circuit diagrams, layout plans, and bills of materials using modern CAE software. You will be responsible for selecting and dimensioning electrical components to meet specific project requirements, ensuring all designs comply with relevant standards and guidelines. Beyond the drawing board, you will support projects through to the manufacturing phase, providing technical assistance during testing and commissioning. This position is ideal for technical professionals who enjoy a mix of theoretical planning and practical implementation. The role offers significant creative freedom within a flat hierarchy, allowing you to directly influence the development of next-generation power electronics. Required Skills
Education
Degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics (e.g., State-certified Technician, Master Craftsperson, or Engineer)
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical design or project planning for control cabinets
- Proven experience using CAE systems, specifically EPLAN Electric P8
- Experience in selecting and dimensioning electrical components for industrial projects
- Practical experience in project support from planning through to commissioning
