Job Summary

As a Controller for Inventory Valuation and Audits at Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH, you will join a team managing material management processes for a major steel production subsidiary. Your daily responsibilities include preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS standards, specifically focusing on material assets. You will lead the commercial preparation and execution of physical inventories, calculate results, and handle necessary bookings. A key part of the role involves acting as a direct point of contact for external auditors and tax authorities regarding large-scale audits.
