Job Summary

As a Security Incident Response Manager, you will lead and develop the Security Incident Management framework for the corporate headquarters while coordinating across various group subsidiaries. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve operative incident response for both IT and physical security events, including the prioritization, analysis, and documentation of threats. You will build and maintain standardized incident processes, playbooks, and escalation mechanisms in close collaboration with the SOC and external authorities like CERT. This role is unique as it combines technical security operations with strategic compliance management, specifically focusing on NIS2 and ISO 27001 standards. You will play a vital role in group-wide security initiatives and awareness activities, helping to secure critical infrastructure while contributing to the group's mission of making Vienna climate-resilient. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in IT, Information Security, Security Management, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in Security Incident Management, Security Operations, or Crisis Management
  • Experience in the analysis, assessment, and treatment of security incidents
  • Experience in implementing and adhering to security compliance and reporting requirements (e.g., NISG 2026, ISO 27001)
  • Experience in developing standardized processes, playbooks, and escalation mechanisms
