This full-time, permanent position within the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior (BMI) involves managing the technical lifecycle of Network and Information Security (NIS) facilities. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for independent requirements management, quality assurance, and process management. You will play a pivotal role in the project support for both new and existing NIS technical systems, ensuring robust IT documentation and performing controlling and optimization measures. A key part of the role involves steering external service providers to ensure the successful operation of ICT solutions. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science) OR Higher Technical College (HTL) diploma with Matura.

Experience

  • 3 years in a relevant IT field with a Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • 5 years in a relevant IT field with a High School Diploma (HTL/Matura)
  • Professional experience in IT Security and Requirements Management
  • Experience in managing external service providers and ICT operations
  • Experience in project support and technical documentation
