Job Summary

This full-time, permanent position within the Austrian Federal Ministry of the Interior involves supporting the Security Architect & Analyst with a specific focus on NIS (Network and Information Systems) auditing. The successful candidate will play a critical role in monitoring compliance with security precautions among entities covered by the NIS Act (NISG). Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing analyses of external audit results, evaluating security improvements, and developing actionable recommendations to implement minimum security standards. You will also participate in high-level technical preparations for security measures, including active involvement in the NIS Cooperation Group at the European level and national stakeholder meetings. Required Skills

Education

  • Professional experience in conducting IT security audits
  • Professional experience in IT security consulting
  • Experience working with relevant standards and norms such as ISO 27000 or Common Criteria
