Job Summary

This role offers a unique lateral entry opportunity for Master Craftsmen or Technicians to transition into Project Engineering within the Digital Rail Germany initiative. Based in Berlin, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and high-quality execution of Control and Safety Technology (LST) projects. Your daily activities will involve managing project documentation, tracking progress, and reporting on schedules and costs to the head of the implementation center. You will play a vital role in the ETCS rollout by coordinating investments with operators and advising clients on critical decision-making processes. Required Skills

Education

Completed qualification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Previous experience in the railway or infrastructure sector is highly preferred
  • Experience in creating technical documentation and maintaining project data
  • Proven ability in structured, independent working methods and professional communication
