Job Summary

As a Hardware Development Engineer at Brunel, you will play a pivotal role in developing the electronic infrastructure for complex aerospace systems. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve creating essential construction documentation, including circuit diagrams and technical descriptions, to ensure electrical designs meet rigorous requirements. You will lead or participate in design reviews and provide critical support during electrical testing, troubleshooting, and hardware qualification phases. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing supporting test equipment, fixtures, and wiring harnesses. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechatronics, Communications Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in hardware development or electrical engineering preferred
  • Experience in designing and troubleshooting DC-DC or AC power supplies
  • Practical experience using Altium Designer and SVN repositories
  • Experience in the aerospace industry or knowledge of aviation standards is highly desirable
