Job Summary
As a Hospital Manager at the St. Gertrauden Hospital in Berlin, you will work closely with the executive management to oversee the operational and strategic development of a 396-bed acute care facility. Your daily responsibilities include managing various departments and service providers, ensuring economic efficiency, and leading staff through goal-setting and development processes. You will play a pivotal role in planning and evaluating healthcare projects, managing construction initiatives, and implementing effective communication strategies. This position offers a high degree of creative freedom and the potential to obtain power of attorney (Prokura) within a value-driven, Christian healthcare group. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree or technical college degree, preferably in Healthcare Management, Hospital Management, or Management in Healthcare. Alternatively, currently undergoing advanced training in Healthcare/Hospital Management.
Experience
- Professional experience in hospital management, potentially gained through a trainee or junior management program in the healthcare sector
- Experience in leading managers and employees, including goal-setting and development processes
- Proven track record in managing healthcare projects at a corporate or site level
- Experience in managing construction projects and structural measures within a clinical environment
- Demonstrated experience in economic steering and strategic business development
