As a Control Systems Technician, you will be responsible for shaping the control and testing processes for production equipment and functional test systems at a global leader in refrigeration and climate technology. Your daily activities involve developing complex PLC-based control systems using Siemens TIA Portal and designing HMI solutions with WinCC Unified or Advanced. You will play a critical role in integrating external devices via communication protocols like Profinet and Modbus, while also performing teach-in and diagnostics for industrial robots such as KUKA and ABB. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a qualification as a State-Certified Technician in Automation Technology.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in PLC programming, specifically with Siemens TIA Portal
- Practical experience in HMI development including WinCC Unified/Advanced and VB-Scripting
- Experience in the teach-in, maintenance, and support of industrial robots (e.g., KUKA, ABB)
- Professional experience with interface and communication technologies such as TCP/IP and Modbus
- Experience in the analysis and rectification of malfunctions in production plants
