Job Summary
As a Project Manager and Electrical Planner for MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing), you will lead the technical design and execution of complex building services projects, particularly for major automotive OEMs and suppliers. Your daily responsibilities include planning technical systems across HVAC, refrigeration, compressed air, and automation, while ensuring compliance with rigorous German safety standards such as DIN/VDI and BetrSichV. You will be responsible for creating technical concepts, managing tenders, and overseeing project execution regarding quality, costs, and timelines. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who enjoy a mix of hands-on technical planning and high-level project coordination. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical degree (e.g., Supply Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics) or a qualification as a State-Certified Technician or Master Craftsman (Meister).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in MEP planning, electrical engineering, or plant project management
- Extensive experience in the design and layout of technical building systems
- Proven track record in project execution following legal guidelines and safety regulations
- Experience in technical documentation and evaluation of energy metrics
- Experience coordinating with internal departments, suppliers, and external customers
Languages
Additional
- Must have deep knowledge of specific German standards (DIN/VDI, BetrSichV, VdS, Ex-Schutz, F-Gase, DGUV). Mobile working is available depending on the specific client assignment.
