Job Summary
As a PLC Programmer at FERCHAU, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development of complex machinery and plant systems. Your daily activities involve programming in Siemens S7 and TIA Portal, creating and implementing software concepts, and optimizing existing program sequences. You will play a key role in designing machine processes and selecting control components. The position requires taking ownership of projects from the initial concept and test phases through to final commissioning at the factory or customer site. Beyond development, you will conduct independent error analysis, troubleshooting, and technical documentation. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Automation Technology; alternatively, advanced training as a State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming using S7, TIA Portal, codesys, or Allen Bradley
- Advanced knowledge in the process control system Simatic PCS 7
- Experience in visualization using WinCC is preferred
- Demonstrated experience in machine control design and implementation
- Experience in commissioning machinery at customer sites or in-house

Additional
- Willingness to travel for on-site commissioning at customer locations is required. Permanent employment contract offered.
