Job Summary
This role involves specialized technical work on low-voltage and local control systems (50Hz), focusing on the installation and wiring of telecontrol systems, cable distributors, and electrical switch drives. As a Medium Voltage Systems Technician, you will be responsible for mounting terminal boxes, installing cable sleeves, performing cable laying, and conducting rigorous measurement and testing protocols. Beyond technical execution, you will collaborate closely with project management and take on leadership responsibilities by heading small work columns as a work supervisor. The position is highly dynamic, requiring you to oversee execution quality, conduct safety briefings, and coordinate with construction management. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical training in an electrical profession; further qualification such as Master Electrician (Meister) or Electrical Technician (Techniker) is required.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or a related technical field
- Professional experience as a Construction Manager or Foreman
- Leadership experience in managing teams or work columns
- Experience in measurement, testing, and documentation of electrical systems
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license required (BE preferred). Willingness to travel within a specific region and potentially nationwide depending on market requirements. Must be able to serve as a designated 'Work Supervisor' (Arbeitsverantwortlicher).
