Job Summary
As a Version Engineer for Galley and Stowage systems at Airbus, you will play a critical role in the technical design and integration of aircraft cabin monuments. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing customer-specific requirements and ensuring the seamless integration of galley and stowage modules into various aircraft configurations. You will collaborate closely with internal departments such as manufacturing and assembly, while also managing projects within the monument sector. A significant portion of the role focuses on data analysis to optimize system performance and risk mitigation. Furthermore, you will oversee the qualification, certification, and quality management of components to ensure compliance with strict aviation regulations. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical degree (Bachelor or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Aircraft Construction, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field.
Experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience in industrial design, interior design, supplier management, or project management
- Minimum 2 years of specific experience in the aerospace industry
- Proven experience in customer-specific module adaptation and cabin integration
- Professional experience with FCO processes and civil aviation documentation (CA)
Languages
Additional
- Knowledge of aviation-specific regulations and FCO processes is required. Candidates should be familiar with civil aviation documentation standards.
