Job Summary
As a PLC Technician in Arnstadt, you will play a critical role in supporting manufacturing and production operations for a major German personnel service provider. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve troubleshooting and resolving faults in complex PLC systems, industrial robots, and drive systems. You will be tasked with optimizing automation processes, primarily using Siemens STEP 7 and TIA Portal, while also managing Kuka robotics and SEW drive systems. The role emphasizes preventive maintenance and systematic data backup to ensure maximum plant availability. This position is ideal for hands-on professionals who enjoy working directly on machinery in a production environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, or a comparable qualification in the field of automation/control technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in fault analysis and troubleshooting of complex PLC systems and industrial robots
- Experience in programming and optimizing automation processes using Siemens software
- Hands-on experience in maintaining assembly and functional test systems
- Experience with Kuka robotics and NC control systems
- Practical experience in parameterizing and commissioning drive systems

Additional
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift (occasionally 2-shift) system is required. A valid driver's license and own vehicle are highly advantageous due to location and shift times. Must have full recognition of professional qualifications.
