As an IT System Administrator in this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and maintenance of complex IT infrastructures, with a particular focus on industrial environments. Your daily activities will include managing Windows and Linux server environments, overseeing Active Directory, and ensuring the reliability of storage and backup systems. You will play a pivotal role in setting up and managing network infrastructures, including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPNs, as well as managing mobile devices. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or equivalent qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT system administration and system operations
- Practical experience in server administration for both Windows and Linux environments
- Demonstrated experience in managing storage and backup solutions
- Experience in the commissioning, administration, and maintenance of network components, preferably in an industrial context
- Experience with network protocols and security including Routing, Switching, VPN, and Firewalls
