Job Summary

This role involves managing and executing sophisticated construction projects for federal and state properties within the Lower Saxony region. Working for the State Construction Management Region North-West, the successful candidate will oversee the entire project lifecycle—from initial planning and tendering to construction supervision and final accounting—in accordance with HOAI service phases 1-9. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading new builds, renovations, and extensions, as well as coordinating with external architectural and engineering firms. The position offers a high degree of responsibility within a multidisciplinary team, ensuring quality, deadlines, and cost control are maintained. Required Skills

Education

University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification; alternatively, qualification as a State-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Professional experience in HOAI service phases 1-9 is desirable for university graduates
  • Extensive, multi-year professional experience in HOAI service phases 1-9 is mandatory for State-certified Technicians
  • Experience in IT-supported deadline and cost monitoring
  • Experience in steering external architecture and engineering offices

  • Valid Class B driver's license is required. Willingness to undergo a security clearance according to the Lower Saxony Security Check Act (Nds. SÜG) is a prerequisite for employment. Readiness for business travel within the region is expected.
