Job Summary

This role involves working for a global leader in the pharmaceutical and crop science industry, focusing on the maintenance and repair of process control technology (PLT) and electrotechnical equipment. Day-to-day, the successful candidate will perform independent troubleshooting, rectify malfunctions, and carry out testing and commissioning of systems. A key part of the role includes configuring and optimizing PLT systems and ensuring all monitoring and protective devices are functioning correctly. All activities must be documented within SAP. This position is particularly attractive due to its placement within a DAX 40 company, offering compensation based on the chemical industry collective agreement (Chemietarifvertrag), a 37.5-hour work week, and up to 30 days of annual leave. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Automation Technology, Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in commissioning and troubleshooting according to VDE standards
  • Practical experience with automation systems such as ABB Freelance and Siemens S7
  • Initial professional experience in the pharmaceutical or chemical industry is preferred
  • Experience in documenting technical work within SAP systems
