Job Summary
The City of Neu-Ulm is seeking a Civil Engineering Technician to join their Road and Bridge Construction department. In this role, you will be instrumental in the planning, tendering, and supervision of municipal civil engineering projects, including road and canal construction. Your day-to-day will involve on-site construction monitoring, performing measurements and billing, and assisting with the technical administration of public infrastructure. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with VOB and HOAI standards while managing smaller to medium-sized construction measures. Required Skills
Education
Completed training as a certified Civil Engineering Technician (Bautechniker) or a comparable qualification in the construction sector.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering or a comparable construction field
- Experience with CAD software and plan preparation is preferred
- Experience in construction site monitoring and measurement
- Familiarity with DIN EN regulations and VOB standards
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license required. Must be able to work independently and exhibit professional conduct when dealing with citizens.
